BankWorks – From Consulting to BCN.tv…

BankWorks Trading Inc. was founded in 1996 by Helen Sinclair, former President of the Canadian Bankers Association (1989 - 1996). Originally, BankWorks' main area of focus was introducing best-of-breed Internet and satellite technologies into the financial sector.

In this capacity, BankWorks helped large companies install proprietary satellite networks for internal training and communications. While doing so, BankWorks recognized a need in the marketplace for a pay-per-use network that would give smaller institutions access to the same types of training opportunities as larger organizations and to use business television without investing capital costs.  This idea led to the launch of BankWorks Communication Network (BCN.tv) in September 2001.

BankWorks continues to assist organizations build their own networks, and offers a variety of services to help them optimize their networks, including media training, workshops, program design, professional on-air hosting, and event management.

Our success rests on our ability to tailor our services to client needs and remain flexible in this highly competitive marketplace.
